Cultural Program Rules & Disclaimer
In our endeavor to celebrate and showcase the rich tapestry of Marathi culture, we invite all community members to participate in our cultural programs. To ensure a harmonious, enjoyable, and respectful environment for everyone, we’ve outlined the following rules and guidelines:
मराठी संस्कृतीचा समृद्ध वारसा साजरा करण्यासाठी आणि त्याचे प्रदर्शन करण्यासाठी आम्ही सर्व समाजबांधवांना आमच्या सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमांमध्ये सहभागी होण्याचे आमंत्रण देतो. प्रत्येकासाठी सौहार्दपूर्ण, आनंददायक आणि सन्मानजनक वातावरण सुनिश्चित करण्यासाठी, आम्ही खालील नियम आणि मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे नमूद केली आहेत:
General Participation:
- Inclusive Participation: Each community member is encouraged to participate, with a limit of involvement in up to two acts to ensure broad participation.
- Adherence to Guidelines: Participants must respect and follow all program rules and regulations to maintain the event’s integrity and spirit.
- Submission Deadline: All entries for performances must be submitted by the specified deadline. Late entries may not be accommodated.
- Content Appropriateness: The selection of songs, dances, and acts should be culturally appropriate and respectful to all audiences.
- Behavior and Conduct: Participants or attendees displaying disruptive behavior or attempting to manipulate the program’s flow will face disqualification and removal without further discussion.
- Non-commercial Platform: The CVMM stage should not be used for personal business promotions by participants or volunteers. Business advertisements are permitted exclusively through valid sponsorship agreements.
Cultural Integrity and Safety:
- Cultural Instruments: We encourage the formation of our own Dhol, Tasha, and Lezim Pathak to preserve and promote our traditional music. Further discussions and workshops will be planned.
- Respectful Environment: All participants and attendees are expected to contribute to a safe and respectful environment, ensuring their actions do not disturb others or detract from the enjoyment of the program.
- Equal Opportunities: We are committed to providing equal performance opportunities to all our community members, prioritizing diversity and inclusion in all acts.
- Safety First: The safety of our participants and attendees is paramount. Please follow all safety guidelines, especially during performances involving physical activity or the use of props.
Kala Mohotsav Specifics:
- Cultural Showcases: The Kala Mohotsav, featuring karaoke groups, Marathi music bands, and drama troupes, will be a highlight of our Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav and Diwali events.
- Creative Freedom: While we celebrate creativity, all performances must align with our community values and the theme of the event.
Event specific Disclaimer:
- Changes and Cancellations: CVMM holds no responsibility for any alterations or cancellations related to the date, venue, or timing of an event.
- Loss or Damage: CVMM cannot be held liable for any personal monetary loss, or the loss of valuables during an event. Attendees are advised to keep personal belongings secure at all times.
- Cancellation Policy: For events requiring a purchase, refunds are available within 48 hours of the transaction. Please contact us directly for processing.
- Personal Safety: While CVMM endeavors to provide a safe environment at all events, we cannot assume responsibility for any injuries that may occur. Attendees are ultimately responsible for their own safety and well-being.
